The Rover is an independent review of the arts.
Our task is to comment and report on the variety of cultural events available to Montrealers, including film, books, stage, art, music and a variety of hybrid arts. Our goal is to create a community of readers who take an interest in the manifestations of artistic creativity in our midst.
Rover is a writers’ magazine. Our editorial objective is to find and nurture a new generation of cultural commentators, as well as to inspire established writers to reflect on subjects of passionate interest to them.
The official launch date is October 1st but the site will continue to grow throughout the coming months. We’ll be adding features as we go. Your comments are vital to the refinement of this magazine.
Essential to our existence is the Rover Membership which at present is simply a mailing list. By adding your name, you’ll be notified by email of new stories and offered discounts on events and products made available only to members.
Once the site is established, we’ll be able to offer cultural enterprises an effective, reasonably-priced medium through which to communicate with their public.
