And the most unfortunate shackling of Sylvie Guillem -- one of the greatest dancers today, &quot;burdened by unwieldy props that distort the impeccable lines of her body.&quot; It was like seeing a thoroughbred hitched to a plow. Very disappointing. Dance + theatre, as opposed to being greater than the sum of its parts, was markedly less. I haven&#039;t read the Quebec press yet, so I don&#039;t yet know if they&#039;re fawning on Lepage (or shitting on him); but I thank you for penning such a succinct, accurate articulation of what I was feeling the whole way through the show.</description>
